Almond Milk (Unsweetened) clocks in at 40 calories a cup. Skim milk, which I drank for years and years is 90 calories a cup. I don’t personally count calories, but I am aware of them, and how they add up over time.
What about calcium? If you’re getting enough veggies, and eating the rainbow, chances are you’ll get enough calcium without drinking cow’s milk.
The bonus: I like the taste better than regular milk. Plus, it’s vegan! So now I can make pancakes for my vegan friends, and have the right milk to use.
